My name is Erica Moore and within the last month I have been diagnosed with cancer again. I have been diagnosed with AML (Acute myeloid leukemia). Right now I am doing a simple treatment but there is a lot of traveling involved. Right now I am driving for labs twice a week, and I usually see my Dr in Shenandoah or KU at least once a week. We are getting ready to travel to KU again for a meeting with my transplant team so we can hopefully get the ball rolling on that. With this being said, I have had to quit working and my husband has also quit working to go with me to my appointments and take care of me. I have applied for disability, but like everything else it will take some time and the funds are dwindling down from paying bills, groceries, every day expenses and traveling to and from Dr appointments. I hate asking, but we need some help from our friends and family. I know I have a wonderful support system behind me and know things will eventually work themselves out.
