Help Lovely Erica and Her Daughter Esther Through the Hardest Battle of Their Lives

If you’ve ever met Erica Lana Da Silva, you know that she’s the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into. Her laugh is contagious, her hugs are healing, and her kindness knows no bounds. Many know her from when she worked at SOLMAR restaurant. She’s been a nice human being and the mom cheering the loudest at every school and life event for her kind, intelligent, beautiful daughter. But today, Erica needs our help.

A few months ago, Erica received the news no one is ever prepared for — an aggressive cancer diagnosis. Despite every treatment and every ounce of hope, her doctors have told her she only has a few months left to live.

As a single mother, her greatest worry isn’t for herself — it’s for her beloved daughter, Esther, a bright young woman currently in college. Esther has always been her pride and joy, and Erica’s deepest wish is to see her daughter graduate (unfortunately, likely not to happen if the doctors' predictions are correct) and especially to make sure her daughter can stay in school and continue to build the future they both dreamed of.

Why We’re Asking for Your Help:

Erica has worked so hard to buy a home for herself and her daughter, has always been the first to give. She’s spent her life raising her daughter with grace and grit, and keeping her faith even when life got hard. Now, with mounting medical bills, a looming foreclosure, and limited time, she needs a community as generous and loving as she’s always been.

We are asking for any amount that you can offer to 1) help cover Erica's medical and other care costs; 2) support Esther’s college expenses so she can continue her studies without interruption; 3) provide a little peace of mind in Erica's final months — knowing her daughter will be okay. Erica may be facing the hardest chapter of her life, but she is not facing it alone. Every prayer, every donation, no matter the size, brings comfort and relief.
