Support Eric Smith’s Recovery After a Severe Stroke

On Friday, November 7th, 2025, Eric Smith suffered a severe stroke. Tragically, he was unable to seek immediate medical attention and endured the effects of the stroke for over 4.5 hours before help arrived.

Eric spent six days in the hospital and is now in an inpatient rehabilitation center, working every day to regain his mobility, speech, and strength. While there have been small but meaningful improvements, this will be a long, difficult road—one requiring time, patience, and resources.

Because of the stroke, Eric is currently unable to return to work at this time. We are in the process of applying for Medical Leave and Disability, but as many know, these systems move slowly. In the meantime, Eric is facing immediate financial needs with no income to support them.

We are raising funds to help Eric cover his day-to-day essential expenses, including:

Medications and medical co-pays

Basic cost-of-living needs while he focuses on healing
