Recently, Eric suffered a traumatic brain injury, roughly one month after his and Christine's wedding day. He sustained multiple skull fractures, brain swelling/bleeding, and was on life support for several days.

Miraculously, he is on the road to recovery and making great progress each day. However, Eric has an extremely long road ahead to make a full recovery. Christine has been at Eric's bedside through it all and will need to continue to support and care for Eric.

In the future, once medically stable, Eric will likely be going to a neuro rehab facility out of state to give him the best chance at a full recovery.

The newlyweds have been through so much in a short amount of time. There will be hurdles ahead, but finances should not be one of them. Right now, they need to focus on Eric's health.
