Friends and loved ones,
This past Monday, April 26th, our very own Eric Quinn suffered a 25-foot fall from a roof while doing a side job. This fall caused him to have a burst fracture to his vertebrae, affecting nerves, ligaments, and the spinal cord in the area.
Upon his arrival to the ER, the surgeon had to perform emergency Kyphoplasty and Discectomy surgeries to his L3 vertebrae, stating that he did what he could, but the spine was leaking fluid and felt he may be doing more harm than good if he continued further. The doctors involved were bleak, stating this was the worst burst fracture they had seen, calling it obliterated. We, as his loving and faith-holding family, refuse to believe that he will not make a full and complete recovery.
While his road to recovery may be long, anyone that knows Eric knows his humor and resilient spirit; he can overcome this! He will have the love and support of his entire family, including his two children, to keep him going. It’s a devastating blow because Eric is such a wonderful human, the true embodiment of someone willing to give you the shirt off their back and a man who selflessly does for so many while always having the best attitude. He is an absolute big kid at heart and the funniest dad and uncle, and we’re determined to see him regain the fullness of life he absolutely deserves. Please consider partnering with us to raise money to help ease the financial burden that comes from not being able to work, the mounting medical debt that comes with being uninsured, and help us plan for the extensive rehab facility that he will undoubtedly need as he progresses.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any contribution you can make.
