As some of you may know Eric & Jessica Hyatt’s beloved Pier Sushi recently caught on fire late Tuesday evening. Jessica was out of town traveling for a client visit in Houston when she received the call from Eric & had to FaceTime through the trauma of the evening and into the early morning hours. They were lucky enough that no one was in the building at the time of the fire. However, due to the extent of the exterior electrical fire that spread inside restaurant, they have been informed that everything will need to be gutted and treated.

At this time, Pier Sushi is completely closed. Her husband & son will be working to rebuild the family business. This is considered by the insurance company a “big loss” and they are currently waiting on that division of the insurance company to inspect the restaurant. Given the recent news they have received on the extent of the scope, we are rallying around the Hyatt family to raise funds to support them in this time of need ❤
