Support Eric Jansen's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi folks, Robin Keefer here, aka Bob. I'm reaching out because Jansen needs our help.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, May 14, Eric Jansen suffered a severe stroke. All of the things he does best, like playing with his girls, walking through the woods, enjoying good conversation with friends, picking on Jessica... even catching a turkey with his bare hands... have been affected.
His treatment required transportation via Air Evac to St. Louis for emergency surgery, where the doctors were able to remove the clot that blocked the blood flow to his brain. His recovery will be long and will require extensive in-patient therapy of all kinds, where he will begin to learn how to regain his independence.
Hopefully next week, Eric and Jessica will be able to come back to Cape where he will begin in patient therapy. GO SEE HIM! Chat that guy up and help us challenge him to get better!
Listen guys, Jansen would hate this. Rather than go on and on about what's happened, I'll simply say that he and Jessica could use your support. Your kindness will help relieve the stress of the financial burden associated with his care to date and in the future.
Eric is one of the best guys I've ever known. He is a dedicated Husband and Father, a tremendous outdoorsman, a great carpenter, smart and funny as all get out, and is one of the best friends I could have asked for. Let's help get this guy back to some back porch conversation and better times.
