Dear family and friends,

It is with our deepest sorrow that we share the unexpected passing of Eric Matthew Huck. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend — and to us, so much more.

If you knew Eric, you’ll remember his infectious humor and big heart. He was a true goofball who loved to cook, blast all kinds of music, play and watch sports, and spend time outdoors — especially camping. But beneath the laughter, Eric was fiercely loyal and protective, always serious when it came to his loved ones. A warrior, a guardian, and our rock.

His presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit will always be with us. We pray that Eric has found peace, the light of God, and the warmth of heaven. We know he’s shining down on us now, just as he protected us in life.
