My name is Lauren McJunkin and my family is launching this gofundme on behalf of my brother in law, Eric Hecox, who is married to my sister, Taryn Hecox.

On the morning of March 27th while vacationing in Phoenix, Arizona, Eric was in an ATV accident. While he was driving, the ATV lost its balance, rolled over and completely severed most of his left hand. He was airlifted to Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix where he was stabilized in the ICU and underwent an 11 hour surgery to re-attach his hand. He remains there today and has multiple surgeries ahead of him to make sure that the reattached hand can be saved. It will be a long road to recovery.

The Hecox family lives in Washington, but Eric will need to remain hospitalized in Phoenix for the unforeseen future. Between looming hospital bills and missed work, the financial load can weigh heavy on an already difficult recovery. We are asking anyone who is able for donations on his behalf to bless their family with financial support through this difficult time. Along with donations, we are also asking for prayers for his hand to be saved and for a miraculous recovery. Please also pray for his wife and two children who are in need of comfort and support during this time.
