The recent fire in the Red Hook warehouses has ravaged the space where a dear friend and extraordinarily talented artist, Eric Richardson (more affectionately known as Eyeball), had just staged an exhibition with years of his life's work. While the official assessment of damages will take several weeks, it is almost certain that his artwork has been lost.
While we're still holding out hope, the reality is clear: decades worth of time, supplies, and finished pieces are at serious risk. This fundraiser will help Eyeball recover, replace essential materials, and keep him afloat as he rebuilds his portfolio in this uncertain time.
The outpouring of love and support already shown for the artist community in Red Hook has been a small silver lining in this tragedy, about which more is being learned every day.
Our goal fundraising goal is $25,000—and while every dollar is appreciated, it goes without saying that support can be shown in so many other ways - whether it be by sharing this post or simply sending some love his way.

In the event that the artwork is recovered in good condition, all funds raised here will be redirected to support the wider artist community impacted by the fire through the official BWAC fundraiser, which can be found here: BWAC GoFundMe
