In Loving Memory of Eric Chandler 

 It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share that my father, Eric Chandler, passed away on Wednesday morning. He fought hard through every challenge — from his back injury to his final battle with liver cancer — and he did it with strength and courage. Our hearts are broken, and the grief feels unimaginable. 

We are now in the difficult position of trying to lay him to rest with dignity and peace — something every person deserves, but something that comes with overwhelming costs we simply can’t manage alone. 

 All donations received so far, and anything contributed moving forward, will go directly toward covering funeral and burial expenses, along with any outstanding medical costs. Hi, my name is Rana and I’m reaching out on behalf of my father, Eric Chandler.

My dad has always been a hard worker — the kind of man who never let anything slow him down. He used to be the life of the party, always making people laugh and lighting up every room he walked into. He’d give the shirt off of his back to anyone who needed it. For years, he pushed through pain and challenges, including a serious back injury that sidelined him for a while. But true to his nature, he persevered and got back on his feet.

In recent years, however, my father’s health has taken a steep decline. Now, he’s facing his biggest battle yet. He’s been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and liver cancer. His condition has worsened, and he is no longer able to work. The financial weight of his illness has fallen heavily on my family — especially my mom, who is doing everything she can to keep things together. Despite her own physical health issues, she continues to work tirelessly to keep things going. She is doing everything she can, but she simply cannot do this alone.

They are struggling to cover everyday expenses, medical bills, and upcoming property taxes. We’re doing all we can as a family, but we’re at the point where we need to ask for help.
