I am Amanda’s Niece. This go fund me has been put together by request of David Everitt and the fathers of both Bella and Eric.

Amanda, Eric, and Bella are a family at the center of an unimaginable tragedy after a mass murder-suicide in Lake City, Michigan. Amanda and Eric lost their lives, and Bella survived after being shot four times. In the middle of a nightmare no child should ever have to endure, Bella was still able to call 911 and identify the shooter, showing incredible courage and strength. Bella now faces a long recovery and a future forever changed by this violence.

This fundraiser is being created to help Amanda, Eric, and Bella’s families with the overwhelming costs ahead. Donations will help cover funeral expenses for Amanda and Eric, and the long-term support Bella will need for her future as she heals physically and emotionally and the costs for Bella’s dad, Michael, to stay in the Grand Rapids area during her recovery so he can be by her side. Their families are carrying the heavy weight of devastating loss while also trying to support Bella through the difficult road ahead, and any help will mean so much during this heartbreaking time.
