Eren is a dedicated organizer with Planet Over Profit, showing up for nearly every protest for climate justice, a free Palestine, and the fight against fascism over the past year. He’s the person everyone can count on – he always shows up ready to fight for justice and to help others. His dedication, generosity, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life have made him a pillar of our community.

Recently, Eren was seriously injured during two separate protests. In August, while protesting ICE's kidnapping of our immigrant neighbors in New York City, he was violently arrested by the NYPD, resulting in a pinched nerve in his lower back and contusions in both knees. During a Labor Day week of protests in the Hamptons, he was kicked in the back of the neck by a restaurant patron while protesting the mega-rich's complicity in Trump's fascist regime, causing further injury. Eren is now in significant pain and unable to participate in the organizing work that means so much to him and to all of us.

Eren needs physical therapy and further medical treatment, including imaging for his neck, but he cannot afford the deductibles and costs right now. This fundraiser is currently his main source of support. We’re coming together to help Eren get the care he needs so he can heal and return to the work he loves. Every contribution will go directly toward his medical bills and recovery.
