Support Ercan Günay’s Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends,

Our beloved father, Ercan Günay, who is 68 years old, has been fighting cancer since September 2020. It all began with colon cancer, which led to surgery, and later, two liver surgeries due to metastasis. Two years ago, his colostomy was successfully closed, and we had high hopes.

In April 2025, he was hospitalized with jaundice. Doctors found a bile duct blockage, and during the emergency procedure, they discovered a new tumor near his pancreas. This tumor needs to be surgically removed urgently, followed by another round of chemotherapy.

Until now, our family has covered all medical expenses on our own. However, the cost of this next surgery exceeds our financial capacity. That’s why we’re reaching out to ask for your support.

Canımız babamız Ercan Günay, Eylül 2020’den bu yana kanserle mücadele ediyor. Süreç, kolon kanseri tanısıyla başladı ve kolon ameliyatı sonrası, karaciğere metastaz nedeniyle iki kez karaciğer ameliyatı geçirdi. Yaklaşık iki yıl önce kolostomisi kapatıldı ve umutla yolumuza devam ettik.

Ancak Nisan 2025’te, sarılık şikâyetiyle hastaneye başvurduğunda, safra yollarında tıkanma tespit edildi. Acil müdahale sırasında, pankreas çevresinde yeni bir tümör bulundu. Bu kitlenin bir an önce alınması ve hemen ardından kemoterapiye başlanması gerekiyor.

Bugüne kadar tüm tedavi ve ameliyat masraflarını aile olarak karşıladık. Ancak bu kez, önümüzdeki pankreas ameliyatı maddi gücümüzü aşmakta. Bu nedenle, desteğinize ihtiyacımız var.
