Support Equine Eyes: Miniature Guide Horses for the Blind

Help Us Give The Freedom Of Independence
We are Equine Eyes, a nonprofit organization with a powerful mission: to train miniature horses as service animals, specifically guide horses for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. These remarkable little horses provide a safe, intelligent, and long-term alternative mobility option for those individuals who do not wish to use a traditional guide dog.
Our goal is simple but life-changing: to provide highly trained miniature guide horses, free of charge, to those in need.
Why We Need Your Help
Although we’ve already begun training and caring for our first guide horses, we’re still in the process of receiving our official 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Until then, we rely entirely on community support to fund the essentials: hay, veterinary care, farrier services, training, transportation, and more.
Your donation will directly support:
• Daily care feeding for our miniature horses.
• Countless hours of specialized training sessions for guide work and public access.
• Routine maintenance: veterinary, dental, and farrier care.
• Placement, education and transportation services for the qualified recipient, horse & handler team.
This is more than just animal training, this is life transformation for both horse and handler. Our mini's come from many sources. We buy from professional breeders & private owners. We aspire to begin a breeding program to raise our own miniature service horses in the near future. But the list doesn't end there. We 1st consider buying our mini's from miniature horse rescue organizations or we buy directly from the 'kill pen." Yes, even these tiny horses are sent for slaughter after being carelessly discarded as pets. We offer these gentle miniature horses a 2nd chance at life & a fresh start. With a little time & positive reinforcement training, they become devoted service animals.
We are incredibly honored and grateful to Laureen Stevens, owner and the heart of Toyland Falabellas International, for her unwavering support of our mission. Believing in the life changing work we do, Mrs. Stevens generously donated one of her prized Falabella miniature horses, "Toyland Toroco" also known as "Mister," to serve as the foundation stallion for our guide horse breeding program. "Mister" is a stunning, triple-registered black Falabella stallion whose calm temperament, tiny size and intelligence make him the ideal sire for future miniature guide horses. Falabella miniature horses are considered the smallest horse breed in the world, originating in Argentina. This extraordinary gift reflects Mrs. Stevens deep belief in the power of miniature horses to transform lives, and we are so thankful for her partnership and trust in Equine Eyes.

Coming soon to our YouTube channel... We will be documenting the real, uncensored footage of our public access training sessions with our miniature service horses in training. Our intention is to educate, inspire, and raise public awareness about the federally protected public accessibility rights of all service animals & their handler, while showcasing the extraordinary capabilities of these incredible miniature horses.
From the bottom of our hearts..."Thank You."
