Help Us Give The Freedom Of Independence
Equine Eyes is a nonprofit organization (501(c)3 tax-exempt status is pending) with a powerful mission: we train miniature service horses, specifically guide horses, for people with visual disabilities, at no cost to the individual. These remarkable little horses provide a reliable, long-term mobility option. Miniature guide horses offer an alternate option to our traditional K9 friends and may better suit some individuals based on their lifestyle, religious belief or personal preference.
Our goal is simple but life-changing: to provide highly trained miniature guide horses, free of charge, to those in need.
Your Donation Directly Supports:
• high quality grass hay & healthy treats for positive reinforcement (+R ) training
• Veterinary, Dentistry & Farrier (hoof care) services
• Transportation for public access training with our minis & public education
• Training – it's estimated to cost $50,000 to fully train a guide animal
• Placement - We cover the travel & lodging expenses for the individual (plus 1 guest) receiving our trained guide horse. They are asked to stay for 1 week, hands on, full immersion training with our team of professionals.
This is more than just animal training, this is life transformation for both horse and handler. Your donations help make life-changing partnerships possible.
Our mini's come from many sources. We buy from respected breeders & private owners. We aspire to begin a breeding program to raise our own miniature service horses in the near future. But the list doesn't end there. We also search for prospects from miniature horse rescue organizations or from the "kill pen." Yes, even these tiny horses are sent for slaughter after being carelessly discarded as pets. We love to save miniature horses and give them a 2nd chance at life, a fresh start. With a little time & positive reinforcement, they have the capacity to become devoted service animals.
We are incredibly honored and grateful to Laureen Stevens, owner and the heart of Toyland Falabellas International, for her unwavering support of our mission. Believing in the life changing work we do, Mrs. Stevens generously donated one of her prized Falabella miniature horses, "Toyland Toroco" also known as "Mister," to serve as the foundation stallion for our guide horse breeding program. "Mister" is a stunning, triple-registered black Falabella stallion whose calm temperament, tiny size and intelligence make him the ideal sire for future miniature guide horses.
Falabella miniature horses are considered the smallest horse breed in the world, originating in Argentina. This extraordinary gift reflects Mrs. Stevens deep belief in the power of miniature horses to transform lives, and we are so thankful for her partnership and trust in Equine Eyes.

Coming soon to our YouTube channel... We will be documenting the real, uncensored footage of our public access training sessions with our miniature service horses in training. Our intention is to educate, inspire, and raise public awareness about the federally protected public accessibility rights of all service animals & their handler, while showcasing the extraordinary capabilities of these incredible miniature horses.
From the bottom of our hearts..."Thank You."
