Support Enriqueta's Funeral Arrangements

Hello everyone,

My name is Kasandra Moreno, the eldest granddaughter, and I made this fund to help my family through such a hard time in our lives. But most importantly for my grandma, who meant the world to us

It is with a heavy heart that my family and I have to announce this but on February 21st, 2025, our beloved grandmother and matriarch Maria Enriqueta Moreno-Diaz, has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 80. She is survived by her 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She came to Carlsbad, CA from Durango, MX wanting a better life, in seeking that out she met her husband, Arturo Moreno. As they fell in love they decided that they wanted to raise a family here in San Diego and did just that, raising all 5 of their children in a loving home. Sadly she had lost her husband nearly 30 years ago and had to raise her children alone from there and onward. As her own children grew up and began their own little families, grandchildren began entering her life, and she helped raised them as well. And as her own grandchildren got older and began their own families, one great grandchild has entered her life. We want to thank Enriqueta as she brought everyone together through her love, care and recipes that everyone always wanted.

My family and I would appreciate any and all help. All the money raised will be used on her funeral service, arrangement and any other unexpected cost that may come up when one loses a loved one.

We thank all those who have reached out and been there for my family with their own love, care and prayers.

Mi nombre es Kasandra Moreno, la nieta mayor, hice este fondo para ayudar a mi familia en un momento tan difícil de nuestras vidas. Pero lo más importante es para mi abuela, que significaba todo para nosotros.

Con gran pesar, mi familia y yo tenemos que anunciar esto, pero el 21 de febrero de 2025, nuestra querida abuela y matriarca María Enriqueta Moreno-Díaz falleció inesperadamente a la edad de 80 años. Le sobreviven sus 5 hijos, 8 nietos y 1 bisnieta.

Ella vino a Carlsbad, CA desde Durango, MX queriendo una vida mejor, en busca de eso conoció a su esposo, Arturo Moreno. Cuando se enamoraron, decidieron que querían formar una familia aquí en San Diego e hicieron precisamente eso, criando a sus 5 hijos en un hogar amoroso. Lamentablemente, perdió a su marido hace casi 30 años y tuvo que criar sola a sus hijos desde entonces. A medida que sus propios hijos crecieron y formaron sus propias pequeñas familias, los nietos comenzaron a entrar en su vida y ella también ayudó a criarlos. Y a medida que sus propios nietos crecieron y formaron sus propias familias, una bisnieta entró en su vida. Queremos agradecer a Enriqueta porque unió a todos a través de su amor, cuidado y recetas que todos siempre quisieron.

Mi familia y yo agradeceríamos cualquier ayuda. Todo el dinero recaudado se utilizará para el servicio funerario, los arreglos y cualquier otro costo inesperado que pueda surgir cuando uno pierde a un ser querido.
