Meet Enrique J. Aguilar. Enrique has persevered all his life with a cognitive disorder, despite this, he continued working two jobs to support himself and stay a productive member of our community. On May 1, 2024, Enrique underwent a lower leg amputation due to a diabetic foot infection. To save Enrique's life, his medical team decided to amputate part of his leg. This life-altering operation changed Enrique's ability to earn living wages. Enrique has undergone countless hours of physical, speech, and mental therapy to understand his Type 2 diabetes. He is now learning how to operate his prosthetic leg. Enrique needs help financially with rent, utilities, and everyday living expenses due to the loss of his income.

Enrique's long-term goal is to return to his job using his favorite form of transportation, his bicycle. Your donation to help Enrique will be greatly appreciated. Enrique looks forward to getting back to work on his own, but still has months of rehabilitation ahead of him.

As Enrique's manager, I had the privilege of managing Enrique for over five years here at Cinespace Studios, Enrique worked here part time, as well as working another job at Mariano's Supermarket. Enrique worked with us two or three days a week. Enrique always showed up on time ready for work. Enrique did not drive, he would use his favorite and most reliable form of transportation to get to work, his bicycle. Rain or shine, snow, sleet or hail, Enrique was always here on time ready to work. Please help Enrique in his time of need. He wants to get back to work as soon as he can but needs your generous donation to bridge the gap.
