I’m not someone who asks for help easily, but right now, I don’t have another choice.
My name is Lauren Garvin, and I am the daughter of Terry Garvin, a longtime professional wrestling personality remembered by fans for his charisma, passion for the business, and the connections he made with audiences over the years.
I live in Enfield, Connecticut, where I help care for my mom, who underwent a total hip replacement last year. More recently, she suffered a serious fall that has left her severely disabled, requiring ongoing care and support. Balancing her needs while navigating our own challenges has been emotionally and physically overwhelming.
After a difficult and life-changing experience in law enforcement, I made the hard decision to step away from a career I devoted more than 10 years to. Starting over hasn’t been easy. While searching for a new path, I’ve been DoorDashing to make ends meet and trying to rebuild our lives.
Then another setback hit. During a delivery, my car’s brakes failed, leaving it disabled and towed miles from home. That car was my only source of income. Without it, I’ve had to pull from rent money, and at times we’ve been left living week to week in motels, just trying to stay afloat.
I’m hoping to raise $10,000 to cover car repairs, medical-related expenses, rent, and basic living costs while we work to regain stability. This isn’t just about survival—it’s about rebuilding, finding steady footing, and creating a future filled with hope.
My dad spent his life giving to others and bringing joy to fans around the world. Asking for help now is incredibly hard, but any support—whether a donation, a share, or a kind word—means more than I can say. Thank you for helping our family take the first steps toward brighter days ahead.
