The fear that gripped Simi when she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer was beyond words—a gut-wrenching, soul-shaking reckoning that forced her into a relentless storm of end-of-life mental gymnastics. Everyone said, “Just fight.” “Stay positive.” So she did.

She did “all the things”—chemo, radiation, integrative therapies, guided meditations, powerful prayers, unwavering love from family and friends. Each element became part of her healing arsenal. But among those many tools, one stood out as her differentiator from what others practiced: energy work.

Through a close friend living in Cairo (Jennifer), Simi was introduced to an Egyptian Shaman (Essam), who practices energy healing. Unable to travel, she said yes to remote sessions from the sacred land of the pyramids, one of the most energetically potent places on the planet.
