For nearly 30 years, you've stood beside Dustin Turner.
Now, for the first time, you'll have the opportunity to walk alongside him.

For decades, Dustin's story has been told through court transcripts, newspaper headlines, television interviews, and the opinions of others.

Many of you have followed every development, read every motion, watched every interview, and continued to believe there was more to Dustin's story than the public has ever been allowed to see.

Now, you'll have a front-row seat as Dustin tells that story—in his own words.

My name is Cloey Burris, filmmaker and founder of Witness Tree Productions. Over the coming months, I've been given extraordinary access to document Dustin's life after spending nearly three decades in prison.

This documentary is unlike anything that has been made about Dustin before.

You'll follow him as he navigates life after incarceration, reconnects with family and friends, reflects on the events that changed his life forever, and continues searching for peace after one of America's most debated criminal cases.

But this film isn't only about where Dustin is today.

Together, we'll revisit the case from the beginning. We'll return to the places where history unfolded, examine the evidence, speak with the people who lived it, and explore the questions that continue to divide people nearly three decades later.

Throughout production, we'll also be uncovering and preserving rare archival material—including personal photographs, home videos, letters, and other pieces of Dustin's past that many supporters have never had the opportunity to see.

This is more than another documentary.

It's an opportunity to preserve Dustin's story through the people who know him best, while creating the most comprehensive look yet at his life before, during, and after prison.

As an independent filmmaker, I'm committed to telling this story with the time, care, and honesty it deserves. Every interview, every mile traveled, every archival discovery, and every hour spent in the edit room is driven by one goal: creating a documentary that is thoughtful, deeply human, and worthy of the trust Dustin and so many others have placed in this project.

Your support makes that possible.

Every contribution helps fund:

Travel to film across multiple states
Interviews with key individuals connected to the case
Research and preservation of rare archival materials
Camera, audio, lighting, and production equipment
Legal review and archival licensing
Editing, color grading, sound design, original music, and post-production
Film festival submissions and distribution

Whether you've supported Dustin for decades or are just discovering his story, your contribution helps ensure this documentary can be made independently and with the depth it deserves.

From the very beginning, I wanted this documentary to be something supporters could experience—not just watch.

Thank you for believing this story deserves to be told.
