My sister, Ena Tauer, recently had major foot surgery because of osteoarthritis. She had a fusion of the metatarsophalangeal joint in her foot, and doctors used titanium plates to stabilize the joint. Because of this surgery, she will be unable to work or drive for at least 6 weeks while she recovers. Ena is self-employed and runs her own cleaning business, which requires her to be on her feet and drive to clients’ homes every day. Since she cannot work during recovery, she has no income coming in during this time. Ena is also a devoted mother to her 11-year-old son, and this recovery period has created a serious financial strain on their household. We are asking for help with basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and monthly bills while she heals.
If you know Ena, you know she is hardworking, caring, and always doing her best to provide for her family. Right now, she needs support so she can focus on healing without the added stress of falling behind financially. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to Ena and her son. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and prayers during her recovery.
