Our beloved sister-friend Enam is preparing to undergo a major medical procedure and will be in recovery for several weeks. As a Black international MFA student with no income over the summer, we're calling on her community to help her rest, heal, and be held with care.

Her mother will be traveling from London to be by her side, but since neither of them drive or are familiar with the Bay Area, they’ll need extra support with:

• Home-cooked meals or takeout deliveries

• Grocery runs and drop-offs

• Rides to follow-up appointments

• Donations to help cover food, transportation, and other essentials

This is a call for mutual aid and community care—the kind of support that sustains us, especially in times of vulnerability. If you’ve been nourished by Enam’s presence, art, or friendship, now’s a beautiful time to reciprocate.
