Support Employees of Le Caprice DC
Donation protected
We are a family-owned cafe and bakery located in the neighborhood of Columbia Heights, in Washington, DC. We started our business 8 years ago and all staff and owners are immigrants or refugees.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been forced to significantly reduce our employee's hours and even temporarily close, out of fear that the virus will spread through our staff, customers, and community. This has left our employees with very limited means to provide for themselves and their families, at a time where social safety nets continue to shrink for immigrants and refugees.
We are setting up this fundraiser to provide any relief we can to our staff, without requiring them to expose themselves to danger. As a small business, we lack the resources and governmental support to do this alone. We hope that you can help and amplify this #SmallBusinessRelief request.
All funds raised will be disbursed for Le Caprice DC staff to support them in this time of uncertainty and hardship.
