Support Emon and children in Crisis

Greetings,

I'm simply raising funds for me and my children's living expenses. I was laid off several weeks ago. I've exhausted my savings and am now struggling to stay afloat and keep a roof over my head. I am actively looking for work, but I am in dire need of immediate assistance. I have never reached out like this before. It's scary and highly uncomfortable for me. Opening up to the public and displaying vulnerability is definitely not a strength that I own. I've never been one to have my hand out or ask others for help, even when I really need it with no solution in sight, but I have a 9-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old daughter depending on me. My older daughter is in college for nursing full-time and working part-time outside of her school schedule. My rent is past due (communication of eviction has now begun), my bank is overdrawn, and soon my water, electricity, and phone will be disconnected. I feel like I have reached rock bottom. I usually have some kind of backup plan, but I've got nothing but this. This is my plan B or C, for that matter. I don't know what else to do at this moment.

So here I am - opening up and asking for help. Any financial help, advice, prayers, and even leads on a job are so very much appreciated.

Primarily, my background is in Recruiting and HR. I'm open to working fully onsite, hybrid, or remote. I am open to a change in careers or anything seasonal or part-time. I am active on major job boards and applying to multiple positions daily.

Also, to provide clarity - I have reached out to a few community services for rental and utility assistance, but funds have not been immediately available - there is a wait. I have been doing Uber Eats and Amazon Flex, which has helped with basic needs. If anyone is aware of where I can get immediate assistance, I am open to it all.

Though challenging, I know that this season in my life is temporary and all a part of my journey. I am grateful for the challenges and for those that cross my path to assist me along the way.
