Support Emmitt Enochson on the Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is LaRee, and I am pulling our community together to support Emmitt Enochson on his road to recovery.
On November 10, 2021, Heyden and Mariah received the phone call no parent should ever receive. Emmitt was seriously injured at his licensed daycare facility and was being transported to the hospital.
His injury is severe and life-threatening. He suffered a substantial head trauma, which fractured his skull, caused two separate strokes, bleeding in his brain, cardiac arrest, and bleeding between his skull and scalp. He has been in two medically induced comas to stabilize his condition and limit seizures from his brain trauma.
Emmitt is currently 9 days into his stay in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The talented, dedicated staff in the Renown PICU has saved his life.
He has stabilized, but his road to recovery is long and filled with unknowns. Heyden and Mariah have been by his side 24 hours a day.
All this trauma in a bright, innocent 10-month-old boy.
Heyden and Mariah didn’t love the idea of running a GoFundMe, but they realize Emmitt may need extended help and care in the coming months and years. These funds will be used to support Emmitt's long-term care, and to help offset Mariah and Heyden's time off to nurse him back to health.
The Enochson and Fisher families are already so grateful for the support from friends, family, and our community. God gave Emmitt so much fight from the get-go, and now we know why.
If you’d like to join any of the many prayer chains for Emmitt, please contact Mariah’s Mom, Cherie Fisher. (Contact me for her information.)
Fight the good fight, Emmitt Joe Enochson.
