Imagine having to choose between safely transporting your children and safely transporting the medical equipment they need to survive.

For Emmi and Asher’s family, this is becoming their reality.

Both Emmi and Asher are living with SURF1 Leigh syndrome, a rare and devastating genetic disease that comes with significant medical needs. Their family purchased a new vehicle just one year ago, hoping it would give them the space they needed—but their children and their medical equipment have quickly outgrown it.

Now, every trip means trying to fit two children, medical equipment, supplies, and everything else they need into a vehicle that simply isn’t big enough anymore.

There is no safe place for everything. Items can shift or fall, creating a serious safety concern for the kids. And with two medically complex children, their family cannot afford to take that risk.

They need a larger, reliable vehicle that can safely fit Emmi, Asher, their medical equipment, and their family.

This isn’t about having a nicer car.

It’s about giving a family the ability to safely get their children to appointments, treatments, therapies, and wherever else they need to go without worrying that their vehicle itself is putting them at risk.
