Hi! My name is Emmett. I was badly burned either by accident or by some very mean humans and left on the side of the road in Makaha Valley, Hawaii. I have pretty serious burns all over my body. My poor little paws and legs are so burned I have to have medication and bandages changed several times per day. I also have burns on my groin, neck, and even in my mouth.

Luckily, on Saturday 9/21/2024, God sent me an angel right when I was about to give up. My Dad found me and took me in immediately. I fell asleep as soon as I hit the cool back seat of his car. We went to the Hawaiian Humane Society where we got good news that I did not have Parvovirus! However, with the burns all over my body, they simply just do not have the staff to give me the personalized care I require. Unfortunately, they said I was a euthanasia case if my Dad left me there. He wasn’t going to have that!!

He took me to the VCA Family and Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center. It’s a 24 Hour emergency veterinarian and has the ability to provide around the clock care for me. They took me in and started helping right away! Each day, I get good news. I’m eating well and my wounds are starting to declare themselves. I look ruff right now, but my Dad comes and sees me every day and gives me kisses, hugs, and tells me all about my big sister Hina and big brother Marty whom I simply cannot wait to meet!

My medical bills are starting to pile up. Dad has been putting them on his credit card and said he will take out a second mortgage to save me if he has to! However, he would really appreciate your help. Even if you cannot give any monetary donations, please share this link and share my story!
