Thank you for your interest in helping to raise funds for my nephew, Emmett Lynch, after the sudden loss of his mom, Jennifer.
On Wednesday, August 12th, Emmett was home with his mom when she called out to him. He ran to her side and found her struggling to maintain consciousness. He called 911 and stayed with her until help arrived. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, he received the terrible news that his mom did not make it.
Emmett is 16 years old and a junior in high school. Jennifer raised Emmett on her own, and we were so proud of how amazingly she supported his interests. Over the years, she had him involved in scouts, track and cross country, and most recently, football. He started playing the alto saxophone in 4th grade and participates in marching band and jazz band. Emmett also shares his mom’s love of art. Her passing has changed Emmett’s life in an instant.
Jennifer raised Emmett as a single mom, so there is no financial cushion to help support Emmett after this loss. This fundraiser is meant to help secure Emmett's future and give him support as he moves forward without his mom. While Emmett is still in high school, he will be staying with his grandparents, Mark and Linda Lynch.
The funds raised will go toward Emmett's future plans, whether that means college or vocational school.
