Hi all! I'm trying to raise money for my 22 year old daughter Emma. She has had many health problems since last year. In May 2024, she had a mini stroke and lost temporary feeling and movement in her legs. She has then went to many doctors since which have diagnosed her with POTS, SVT, hEDS, MCAS, Fibromyalgia, Anxiety, Depression, Migraines, convulsions, and APS. We don't know what is causing the convulsions. She is still getting tested for Lupus. She is just waiting to get into and endocrinologist and rheumatologist. On January 25th, she had another mini stroke. This time she temporarily lost feeling and movement in her left arm. She uses a wheelchair when needed because she still has difficulty walking at times. She has made progression from last May but there is still a long road for recovery. Right now she is trying to raise money to get a service dog to help her with things like mobility, alerting before convulsions or changes in her heart rate, retrieving medication and things she drops on the ground, protecting her from falling when fainting, and many more things. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
