Support Emma's Battle Against T-Cell Lymphoma
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Sara and I am Emma's older sister. I am reaching out for support during one of the most challenging times my family has ever faced. My 21-year-old little sister, Emma, is courageously battling Stage 4 T-Cell Lymphoma. Emma, a vibrant student at Eastern Michigan University and a cherished member of the Delta Zeta sorority in Ypsilanti, Michigan, is known for being the life of the party. Her outgoing personality and love for spending time with friends have touched the hearts of everyone who knows her. Witnessing Emma's vibrant spirit dim as her college life abruptly halts is a heart-wrenching experience I wish upon nobody.
Throughout this trying period, Emma has endured hospital visits, combating severe symptoms. She has now been transferred to the Cleveland Clinic for specialized treatment under a doctor well-versed in T-Cell Lymphoma. Regrettably, we've received the devastating news that the cancer has spread to her brain, confirmed by a positive spinal tap result. To ease the burden on my parents and family during Emma's projected 6+ month periodic stay in Cleveland, we have initiated this GoFundMe campaign. Currently, my mother stays by Emma's side full-time in Cleveland, while my father commutes back and forth. With their home being over 3 hours away, they are unable to return daily for rest, showers, and meals. The funds raised will assist with gas, accommodation, meals, and any additional expenses Emma may require during her stay.
Your contributions, prayers, and support are invaluable to us during this trying period. Thank you for joining us in supporting Emma throughout her journey to recovery.
