Emma, Antonio, and their sweet little girl Nora have experienced anything but a normal pregnancy. At just 18 weeks, Nora was diagnosed with severe Intrauterine Growth Restriction, measuring at less than 1% growth and facing a very guarded prognosis. Since the diagnosis, Emma and Antonio have managed multiple weekly appointments, work schedules, and caring for their two dogs, all while worrying about their daughter's health.
Recently, Emma had to go to the emergency room for uncontrolled blood pressure and was diagnosed with severe pre-eclampsia. Because of this, Emma now has to deliver at 34 weeks and remain in the hospital for the next 3-4 weeks leading up to her delivery for the safety of both her and little Nora. Due to Nora’s SIUGR and expected prematurity, she will need to spend about 1-2 months in the NICU. The stress of such a sudden change has completely turned Emma and Antonio’s world upside down.
Please consider donating to help ease some of the financial and emotional stress that their family is enduring and will continue to endure. For those who cannot donate, sharing their story and sending love and positivity is just as appreciated. Thank you so much for your support as Emma, Antonio, and Nora navigate this traumatic and difficult time in their lives.
