Support Emitt's Return to the USA

Story

My name is Emitt Prophete and I am reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life. I was deported from the United States on May 16, 2025, a place I have called home since I was 5 years old. Due to immigration policies, timelines and conditions- I spent all of my adulthood trying to achieve permanent resident status. United States is my home- I attended elementary and graduated from Ocoee high school. I’ve worked hard, contributed to my community, and built a life for myself and my loved ones including my wife and my amazing and talented son Armias. Now I find myself back in a place that is facing extreme hardship—political instability, widespread violence, food insecurity, and limited access to basic services. This deportation has left me with nothing. I arrived with nothing- no job, no permanent shelter and very limited access to resources in a country I haven’t lived in since I was 5 years old. I’m currently trying to rebuild from the ground up, but the process has been overwhelming and heartbreaking. I’m asking for your support to help me get back on my feet. Your donation will go toward:     •    Temporary housing     •    Basic necessities (food, clothing, hygiene items)     •    Medical care     •    Transportation     •    Legal or documentation fees in hopes of returning to reunite with my family and friends. Any amount you can give—big or small—will make a meaningful difference in my journey to stability and safety. If you’re unable to give, I ask you to please share this with others who might be able to help and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I never imagined being in this position, but I believe in the power of God, community, compassion, and second chances. Thank you for reading, supporting, and standing with me in this incredibly hard chapter of my life.
