Please help Support Emily's Unexpected Layoff

My name is Emily, and asking for help has never come easy for me. I’m reaching out because I truly need it.

Just a few short weeks ago, I took the biggest leap of my life, I moved from the U.S. to Ireland to start a new job and a new chapter. I moved May 23rd, full of hope, excitement, and gratitude for the fresh start. It felt like everything was finally falling into place.

But life had other plans.

Only a month into my new role, Microsoft announced massive layoffs, 9000! Sadly my studio, which had just hired me, was completely shut down due to funding cuts. I suddenly found myself in a foreign country, without a job or a safety net. Every cent I had went toward making this move possible, a dream I worked so hard for.

Now, I’m actively job-hunting and doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but the cost of rent and daily living is adding up quickly. I'm humbly asking for help to get through this incredibly difficult moment. Even the smallest donation makes a difference and would mean the world to me.
