Hi, this is my friend Emily, shes 21 years old and a few weeks ago she started experiencing back and leg pain, and ended up collapsing and not being able to walk. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, MS is a disease that impacts the central nervous system. The exact cause of MS is unknown. MS has specifically effected Emilys legs, she has lost a lot of feeling and has been going through physical therapy to learn how to walk again. Shes using a wheelchair currently and even after shes able to use her feet again, she will need a cane or walker to assist her and may need the wheelchair on days when the pain is worse. Emily has been so strong throughout this tough situation. Through her physical pain, not being able to work and earn money to pay for her medical bills, and needing to re-learn everyday tasks, Emily has kept a smile on her face and kept her mood up. Im hoping to help her in any way by making this fundraiser, whatever you can donate would help greatly to get her a wheelchair and help with her medical expenses. Emily is a close friend of mine, shes kind, funny, and so caring. Shes always doing her best so Im hoping to take some stress off her and let her focus on getting better.
