Hi friends and family! I am Emily From and I am entering my junior year at Wheaton Academy. I have the exciting opportunity to be a part of a missions trip with a team from my school this upcoming January.

We will be traveling down to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, and partnering with an organization called Kids Alive, who work with towns and areas where children are prone to violence and abuse. They provide shelter and education while also sharing the love of Jesus and the Gospel message with the children.

I will get the opportunity to create relationships with these children, tell them about Jesus, play sports with them, do arts and crafts, and lots more! I also look forward to being able to use my 3.5 years of Spanish classes to communicate with the kids and teachers.

However, I am in need of financial support to help get me there and cover my trip expenses. My goal is $2,800, which will cover all travel and housing expenses.
