My name is T-J Mohr. For those of you who don’t know my youngest sister Emily, I’d like to take a minute to tell you a little about the amazing person she is and why I’m asking for your help. Emily has always been willing to help anyone in need, no matter the sacrifice to herself. As the youngest of us siblings, she was the last one to leave home. While my sister Amy and I lived hours away, she lovingly took care of our mom during many health issues until Mom went to be with the Lord. Emily continues to be the primary caregiver for our dad. She recently supported him for over a year's time being bedridden. My hardworking, strong, survivor sister did these things while also raising 4 wonderful children, all on her own. She also helps her daughter care for her 2 beautiful grandkids, all while holding down a full-time job. Even though we can’t see her cape, Emily must be a superhero!

After all these years caring for others, it’s time for Emily to take some time to care for herself. She is in need of knee surgery. While she does have insurance coverage, this surgery will prevent her from working for a while. Any donations that you are willing to make to help pay for daily life expenses and the medical bills not covered by insurance would be greatly appreciated. Emily has carried a huge burden for so many years with so little financially. I’m praying family and friends will come alongside her now to help her care for herself.
