For those of you who don’t know me my name is Kate Valerio, yesterday November 19, we lost a daughter, a granddaughter, a cousin, and most of all a friend. Just a year ago we also lost her father. I know this time of year is hard with holidays coming up but our group of friends is looking to raise some money to offset the cost to help her mother send Emily off the way she deserves. If you knew Em you know her story wasn’t always easy, she struggled as many of us do but one thing she never struggled with was being a friend when a friend was needed. Me personally will always remember the Emily I met all those years back the happy, funny, yet rebellious, and most caring.
