- Hello, my name is Emily. I'm reaching out today to request your support as this is my last resort. I'm a hard worker, mother of 2 now, with 1 son-in-law and 2 daughters-in-law, and 11 grandchildren. I work and serve the community in which I was born and raised. I'm a compassionate, helpful, supportive, caring person who's now in dire need of help to save my home from foreclosure.
- My home is in the last 2 weeks of Foreclosure Redemption of $44,000, unfortunately caused by someone I trusted and purchased my home from. I purchased a condo on a land contract from someone, which, come to find out, was not honest from the very beginning. I upheld my part of the contract, paid the owner in full, never missing a payment in 8 years. I even continued to make my monthly payment throughout the difficult time of COVID-19. I made sure I paid for my home first before anything else during that very unimaginable time for everyone in the world because, first, it was the right thing to do, and second, my contract would be completed, and I would be a homeowner debt-free of "rental payments," which meant security for my family.
- During COVID, I talked and stressed to my eldest son Tim that if something should happen to me, please continue to pay for the home because it was for them (my children). It wasn't always easy for me to make the payments, but I did. One year later, my son Tim contracted COVID-19. Most of his construction crewmates, Tim's wife, myself, and 7 immediate family members, including children, fell ill to the virus. Everyone survived but my son Tim, who battled COVID-19 for over 90 days in the hospital on the ventilator and so many other machines to keep him alive, only for us (my family) to have to make a decision to remove him from life support after he had a stroke.
- Through all of this sickness and heartache, I fulfilled my end of the contract only to find out the owner of the home had an open mortgage on the home that I was not aware of and could not sign the deed to the home to me. I had to do some research and addressed the owner. She started feeding me a web of untruths. After 2 years of trying to help her pay her mortgage that she didn't pay with the money I paid her, I hired an attorney. I paid thousands of dollars to help me obtain the deed to which I was rightfully owed. She (the owner) stopped making the mortgage payments because I hired an attorney. She allowed the home to acquire 2 liens, first for the HOA, and second her mortgage in the last 8 months.
- On February 14, 2025, the judge made her sign the deed over to me, but it's less than a month in redemption, and if I don't pay $44,000 to redeem the home, I will lose it. I saved the home from the first lien in January 2025 for $11,500. Now I'm in dire need of help to save my home of almost 11 years and avoid being without a home. If you could help by donating $25 or whatever you may have, I greatly appreciate you. I truly thank you in advance. Emily
