Support Cindy and Emily in this time of need

Hi everyone, I’m Machelle. I’m setting up a GoFundMe account for my friend Cindy and her daughter, Emily, who need their community more than ever right now. As we all know, when medical hardship hits, it hits hard, and we need assistance to help us get through these difficult and stressful times. Emily was diagnosed with a brain tumor a little over 5 years ago. She underwent surgery at that time to have the tumor removed. She just recently underwent surgery to have another tumor removed. Her post follow-up MRI showed there is new growth forming, and the pathology results show that the tumor is now a grade 4 Glioblastoma, which is a very fast-growing tumor.

This is what Emily posted on April 5: I asked my Dr. what my lifespan looks like at this point in time, unfortunately, he guesses 6-12 months.....

Cindy, during this time, had to have back surgery and has been home recovering.

Cindy is a friend, co-worker, nurse, loves living in Alaska, and a great mom. Cindy is a mom who loves her daughter very much and is doing what any mom does, which is be there for her, take care of her, laugh with her, enjoy every day, and build memories. Emily is such a beautiful soul who has been so strong, positive, and uplifting through all this.

And as care givers, we are use to taking care of others, and have a hard time asking for help. Cindy and Emily need help with daily and monthly costs, medical, and this is hard to type, but preparation for celebration of life.
