Just days ago our family was celebrating the month mile stone of baby Jovan's early arrival. 

It's been so incredible to witness, as my sister transformed into an incredibly adoring, courageous and strong mother, with so little control over her birthing story - baby Jovan, born 6 weeks prematurely, spent time immediately in the NICU

I continue to witness in awe, her love, strength and courage as Emily and her family take on another challenge; Emily has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of triple-positive breast cancer.

In addition to balancing life at home with her first newborn, she and her family are facing an overwhelming battle of cancer treatments, recovery and the care of a premature baby.

We are rallying around her with all the love and strength we have, but the financial burdens that come with this fight are heavy. Between medical bills, treatment costs, unexpected childcare needs and everyday living expenses, it's clear that support is needed to help them focus on what matters most: healing and being present as a new family.

We are so mindful that this is not a proper time to be asking for monetary support. Every thought, connection, and prayer is appreciated just as much.
