My name is Emily, I'm a 32-year-old mama to a beautiful 15-month-old.

I was diagnosed with not one but two types of breast cancers right before my daughter's first birthday this year. After a routine check-up, they discovered two masses in my left breast, which led to multiple imaging and two different types of biopsies. This led to my diagnoses of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (invasive) and Ductal Breast Cancer (non-invasive) as well.

As cancer goes, this was obviously not planned, which has led to multiple unplanned bills for our family, along with multiple surgeries. I have had to have two chemo ports placed as the first one never closed, which led to an infection. Even after the first port was removed and the new one was placed, I have suffered from horrible pain and infections due to it still not healing properly. Now, I will have to undergo another surgery for yet another operation.

As we are on our second half of chemotherapy, we are getting closer to my breast surgery, which will put me out of commission for at least 6 weeks. I am having a bilateral mastectomy (both breasts removed) and reconstruction surgery.

We are just looking for help to cover some of our unplanned medical expenses and medical supplies. Anything helps, or even just a share. We are so grateful!
