On Friday 7/14 the Eagle Mountain, West Jordan, and Millcreek communities unexpectedly lost one of their beloved members. Emily Merz was a loving, giving mother and a bright light to those around her. She was the mother of four amazing children, Nathan, James, Ellie, and Caroline, and spouse of her longtime love Chris Brown. Before focusing on being a full time mother, Emily worked passionately as an animal rescuer and with those with disabilities to empower them and give them a voice. A true kind and loving soul.

We are reaching out to those who knew Emily in an attempt to assist Chris with the financial burdens he will be facing while navigating the journey of a solo parent.
