Support Emily's Dad in His Cancer Battle

Hi I’m Emily Pennington I’m starting this go fund me for my Dad. I’m going to tell his story. My dad has been battling stage 4 colon cancer for almost 5 years now . He was diagnosed with colon cancer back in 2021, and by the time he was able to see a Dr. it was already stage 3. He was able to start chemotherapy to try to shrink the tumor and he ended up having to have surgery in (2022) having to take/remove some of his colon.  Was told my dad was cancer free. Praying the cancer would never come back but it came back in the same year. (2022). Now in a stage 4. 

The Cancer has spread to the liver and lungs my dad has done multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation along with immunetherapy, and also multiple clinical trials which nothing has worked. He just undergone another surgery 2 months ago  in June on his brain. He is currently on a different type of trial that is not chemo to see if his body able to handle the side effects of this medication. The medication has made my dad very very weak and very tired . If the treatment is not making any progress then there is nothing more that can do for him except hospice . 

My dad has been suffering in pain this whole time not just because of the medication he is currently on just from the cancer in general. He just sleeps a lot, has lost a lot of weight doesn’t eat as much, very weak doesn’t have much energy to do anything. My dad does not look the same at all. I wish my dad was never going through this I hate this ! The fight continues the pain is hard to watch He’s a fighter but his body is tired and can only handle so much.
