We are the parents of Emily Hope Thompson, David and Caitlin. On January 20th of this year, we got the gift of life of our daughter, Emily Hope Thompson. Unfortunately, it came with a few complications. Emily Hope was born with stage 4 hydronephrosis, a tortuous ureter, and a ureterocele which consumed 90% of her bladder. We have been surrounded by a great group of doctors and nurses. Our little girl has already undergone corrective surgery to try and address her issues; to this point, we have had little success. She is now 4 months old and is now officially below her birth weight. She is a beautiful girl with everything she has been through and is still dealing with, she has an amazing fight in her. To have all of this happen and still smile, barely fuss (unless hungry), it gives us even more strength and fight as her parents. We work as hard as we can to give our kids the life they deserve. Emily has 3 older brothers, Gage, Bo, and Riley Cole, who are all missing their baby sister. We have never had a need to ask for any help. However, at this time, a realization kicked in that this was bigger than our feelings. Our daughter needs your help. Anything whatsoever would be so greatly appreciated.
