Emely is a dedicated martial artist, a great student, and an even better person. She recently suffered a full ACL rupture during competition, which has been very difficult since training and teaching are a big part of her life.

She also works, and due to this injury and upcoming surgery, she will not be able to work for a period of time.

Although she has insurance, many of the costs related to surgery and recovery are not fully covered, including physical therapy and time away from work and training.

Her surgery is scheduled for April 24, and we are asking for support to help her through this process and come back stronger.

Emely es una atleta dedicada al jiu-jitsu y las artes marciales, además de ser una excelente estudiante y una gran persona. Recientemente sufrió una ruptura completa de ACL (ligamento cruzado anterior) durante una competencia, algo que ha sido muy duro para ella ya que entrenar y enseñar es parte de su vida diaria.

Ella también trabaja, y debido a esta lesión y su próxima cirugía, no podrá trabajar por un tiempo, lo que también le afecta económicamente.

Aunque cuenta con seguro, muchos de los gastos de la cirugía y recuperación no están completamente cubiertos, incluyendo terapia física y el tiempo fuera de trabajo y entrenamiento.

Su cirugía está programada para el 24 de abril, y estamos pidiendo apoyo para ayudarla en este proceso y que pueda regresar más fuerte.
