Please consider donating to help Emily & her family's financial burdens during her 4th battle with cancer.
Words can not describe how amazing 18 year old Emily is.... she truly is a warrior. Emily's first two encounters with cancer were battling against AML Leukemia. Her very first treatment consisted of 5 rounds of inpatient chemo & hospitalization for 6 months. After being in remission for 1 year, the blood cancer returned, and Emily had a bone marrow transplant. 7 years later, Emily was diagnosed with an Ewing Sarcoma tumor in her leg; she went through more chemo and 7 weeks of radiation, and then had the tumor surgically removed. The healing process was long and painful, and she still has difficulty extending her leg fully. A short 4 months later, during a check up scan, they discovered new tumors in her spine and pelvis. Thus far, she had radiation at Stanford, and is doing at home chemo treatments.
During all this time, Emily has had the love and support of her parents and younger sister. Her mother, Amelia has been Emily's main caregiver, which has greatly impacted her ability to work consistently. Please consider donating to help ensure that Emily's mom can continue to always be by her side. #noonefightsalone
To say Emily has had her fair share of pain and suffering is an understatement, yet she continues to carry on with a positive and giving attitude. She recently started her own Non-Profit called, Golden Positivity, which benefits others battling childhood cancer. You can follow her @ www.goldenpositivity.org.
Please keep endearing Emily in your prayers.
