Hi everyone

I’m putting this GoFundMe together for my dear friend, Emily Tluangneh. Many of you know her as the warm, patient, and truly amazing kindergarten teacher at Douglas MacArthur Kindergarten Academy. She has poured so much love into her students over the years, and now she could really use some love and support.

In May 2025, Emily was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, she’s had two lumpectomies on the right side, followed by 20 rounds of radiation. After finishing radiation, doctors found another lump on her left side, and she had another surgery in September to remove it. She’s handled every step with so much strength and grace; it’s honestly been inspiring to watch.

Unfortunately, the medical bills have started to pile up. This fundraiser covers half of her medical expenses ($3,000) and will help with surgeries, treatments, and other important costs as she continues to heal.

Emily is a fighter, an incredible teacher, and one of the best friends anyone could ask for. Any amount you’re able to give, big or small, will make such a meaningful difference and help ease some of the financial stress she’s carrying.
