Support Emily T. - husband passed away from COVID
Donation protected
Eden Senior Care has lost one of our own to COVID-19. This past Sunday, Emily Thoma, Director of Rehabilitation at Omro Nursing and Rehab lost her husband, Brennen. The team at Eden Senior Care is heartbroken by this news and is supporting Emily and her family to the best of our ability. Emily is an amazing employee, co-worker, and member of the Eden family and we are devastated to hear this tragic news. To anyone who had not had the honor to meet Brennen, he was a young, bright, healthy man and an amazing husband to our Emily. Brennen would cook every night for Emily (usually something smoked). He was a successful Insurance Advisor and President of Meat Smoking Club of Wisconsin.
Emily and Brennen were both diagnosed with COVID-19. Unfortunately, Brennen needed to be admitted to the ICU where he was placed on BiPAP and later was intubated on the vent. Emily, recovering from COVID herself, was not allowed to visit her husband during that time but spent her time on video calls with Brennen. Brennen’s condition declined but nurses allowed Emily to visit him, hold his hand, and support him through this hard time.
Unfortunately, 34-year-old Brennen passed away on December 19th. Now more than ever, we need to do what we can to stay safe and come together to help one of our own Eden families as we would anyone.
Help us reach our goal of $10,000 by donating to Emily’s GoFundMe page. EDEN SENIOR CARE WILL MATCH ALL DONATIONS UP TO $10,000! If you are able to provide any monetary donations to Emily and her family that would be great.
Eden Senior Care continues to keep Emily and her family in our thoughts and prayers. All prayers for strength and healing would be greatly appreciated.
