Hello, my name is Ryan, and I’m a single father to my beautiful daughter, Emily Rose. Emily has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, severe autism, is non-verbal, and non-ambulatory.
Every day, I am her sole caregiver, advocate, and source of comfort. Between her around-the-clock care, multiple medical appointments, and the constant fight for services, it’s impossible for me to work a regular job. Unfortunately, finding childcare for a child with Emily’s needs is out of reach, and I’ve exhausted every option for government support — but keep getting turned away.
Right now, we live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment that is far from ideal for Emily’s needs. We don’t have the space or accessibility she deserves. Worse yet, I’ve run out of savings and can no longer cover rent, food, or basic necessities.
I am trying everything I can, but I can’t do this alone anymore. I’m asking for help to:
- Keep a roof over our heads right now
- Provide food and medical essentials for Emily
- Save up enough to move into a more suitable, accessible home where Emily can have the space and safety she needs
Your kindness will directly help us survive this crisis and give Emily Rose a chance at a better quality of life.
