Support Emily Poppe

Emily has been living with severe

ulcerative colitis for the past 11 years. In May of 2022, she learned that she will

need to undergo a complete colectomy

because of the disease. She will be having surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and has already traveled back and forth for pre-surgical visits. This is a major life-altering surgery that will keep her away from work for an extended period of time.

Emily has lived in the BisMan area her entire life and is an active member of the community. She currently lives in Mandan with her two cats, Blanche and Moira, who she dotes on. Emily has impacted the lives of countless kids and teens through her role as a swim coach over the years for the Mandan Marlins, Bismarck Aquastorm, and Bismarck High School girls team (Go Demons!)

Through this fundraiser, we hope to help Emily defray medical expenses and support herself while she is unable to work. Anyone who knows Emily knows that she is an incredibly compassionate person who puts others before herself time and time again. This is an opportunity for everyone to help Emily as she has helped so many others.
